The Ottawa‐based synth/dream pop project began as a duo comprising songwriter/producer, Bernard Frazer and pop songstress, Felicity DeCarle. Their debut EP, Primitive Creatures (released February 2017), built a worldwide audience, from Japan and the UK to Mexico and Canada. The album drove to number one on radio charts in cities across Canada, and it finished the year on a host of Top Album lists of 2017.
The new album "The Dark & The Light", was officially released on September 28th 2018. It heralds a brave new sound that Frazer reveals is still very much synth-pop, but edgier. "Sonically, there are flavours in this one that reference early Gary Numan, OMD, and even Goldfrapp", Frazer notes. The new album also introduces a host of extraordinary female singers that Frazer describes as, "incredible hidden Canadian treasures." .

The riveting DeeDee Butters of Ottawa's The Peptides kicks off the album with the 2018 summer hit Like Gary Numan. It is followed by the upbeat banger Listen 2 Love that features Rob Preuss of Canadian synthpop legends The Spoons on synths and percussion, and the powerhouse vocals of Andrea Matchett. Preuss also delivers stellar remixes for 'Like Gary Numan' and 'Scream in Silence'.

Also featured on the album are the smokey, whisky-drenched vocals of Tara Holloway (Good Girl and Scream in Silence), the tender sweet electropop vocals of Jill Beaulieu of Canada's Meter Bridge (I Can't Be Loved), Canada's musical road warrior Krista Hartman (Me Myself & I), and the perfect pop vocals of Those Gulls singer  Kate Schroder  (Another Perfect Day).
The new album was mixed and mastered by Blinker the Star’s Jordon Zadorozny, whose musical pedigree is considerable. Formerly signed to A&M and DreamWorks, Zadorozny has worked with such notables as Courtney Love and Lindsay Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac).
