ARTIST : BRUTALIST ARCHITECTURE IN THE SUN

ALBUM : DESOLATION STREET

RELEASE : 26/6/2025

If you’re on the lookout for a fresh sound that pushes the boundaries of electronic music, look no further than the electrifying new album from Dean Clarke and Cye Thomas, aka Brutalist Architecture In The Sun

With 14 tracks that expertly blend coldwave and minimal synth vibes, this album is a true testament to their artistic prowess.

The new single, "Face//Down," is a thrilling follow-up to my personal favorite, "Drive by Suicide." Both tracks showcase the duo's ability to create hauntingly beautiful soundscapes that linger long after the music stops. "Face//Down" is particularly captivating, with its pulsating beats and ethereal synths that draw you in and keep you hooked.

What I love about this album is how it balances dark, moody undertones with moments of sheer sonic brilliance. Each track feels like a journey, inviting listeners to explore the depths of their creativity.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of electronic music or just dipping your toes into the genre, there’s something here for everyone.

The album is available for pre-order in both digital and CD formats, which is fantastic for collectors and audiophiles alike.

In a world where music often feels repetitive, Clarke and Thomas have crafted something truly unique. This album is not just a collection of tracks; it’s an experience that demands to be heard. Don’t miss out on the chance to dive into this sonic adventure!

BIO

Non Stop Erotic Cabaret are Timmy Faith and Damo Devotion, self-confessed technology nerds raised on a diet of science fiction and video games, whose dark electro pop is informed by an intriguing DIY punk rock sensibility.
After a chance meeting at a music festival, Timmy and Damo started NSEC as an online collaboration, working on musical ideas on their iPads in self-isolation, long before it became hip, and early demos found support at BBC Introducing, leading to performances at festivals such as Beat-Herder.
If you like Kraftwerk, Human League, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Happy Mondays, A Certain Ratio, Daft Punk, Erasure and, of course, Soft Cell, you will love Non Stop Erotic Cabaret's fabulously synthtastic, danceable pop music about life, the universe and everything.
