We recently had the pleasure of listening to the new EP from the electronic duo, The Moons of Jupiter. As a fan of both modern electronic music and the nostalgic sounds of the eighties, we were excited to see how James & Nicky would blend the two together.
From the very first track, we were transported back in time to the neon-lit streets and futuristic vibes of the eighties. The duo's use of synthesizers and drum machines immediately gave off a retro feel, while their production techniques and use of modern technology kept the sound fresh and current.
One of the standout tracks on the EP is 'Beautiful Life,' a catchy and upbeat song that perfectly captures the essence of this talented duo. Another standout track is 'Gobekli Tepe,' a dreamy and atmospheric instrumental that showcases the duo's ability to create a nostalgic yet modern sound.
The vocals on the EP are also worth mentioning, as they add another layer of depth and emotion to the already impressive production. The lyrics are cleverly written and fit perfectly with the overall theme of the EP.
We were also impressed by the duo's attention to detail in their production. Every sound and element was thoughtfully crafted, creating a cohesive and polished sound throughout the EP. It's clear that they have a strong understanding of both the eighties sound and modern electronic music, and their ability to blend the two seamlessly is what gives them their own unique sound and visions.
Overall, 'Angel' is a must-listen for fans of electronic music, especially those who appreciate the retro vibes of the eighties. The EP is a perfect blend of modern technology and nostalgic sounds, creating a unique and captivating listening experience. We highly recommend giving it a listen and keeping an eye on this talented duo in the future.
